No. La familia tiene derecho a elegir la escuela.
La Convención sobre los Derechos de las Personas con Discapacidad obliga al Estado a tener un sistema de educación inclusivo.
Cuando se inscribe al niño, niña o adolescente en una escuela común puede recibir apoyos de una escuela especial o de los equipos profesionales autorizados para dar apoyos a la inclusión escolar.

La educación especial puede intervenir para dar orientaciones, apoyos o recursos a las escuelas comunes.

Dar los apoyos necesarios para que aprendan en la escuela.
Tener propuestas específicas de enseñanza.
Tener Proyecto Pedagógico Individual para la Inclusión (PPI).
